GMC Introduced a new medium duty truck in 1939 based on the new Chevy cab. The 1939 models had the parking lights located in the headlight bucket. In 1940 the American auto industry went to sealed beam headlights and GMC had to move the parking light to new housings on the front fenders. Our kit has these housings cast into the body. For those wanting a 1939, simply sand off the protrusions.
